FOUNDER

Neelima Vinod

Neelima is a TEFL-certified English teacher with experience mentoring students one-on-one and in workshops. She has written two books - a paranormal romance novella called Unsettled where she bridges the gap between fiction and poetry and A Complete Guide to Job Placement, a book for students who are moving out of the campus to the corporate world. She holds an M.Phil degree and is alumna at the University of East Anglia (UEA) Creative Writing Workshop.

Who is the Mentor?

Neelima Vinod will be mentoring your child. She has over a decade of experience in all things
writing. Her expertise lies primarily in teaching and editing and through these programs, she
provides valuable guidance and support to budding young writers.

Is there an anthology for the Junior Writer Program?

Presently, the Young Author Program is the only course for which an anthology is created. In
case of The Junior Writer Program, anthologies are created only as per the discretion of the
mentor.

Does the writer have copyright to the story that is published?

Yes, the writer has the copyright in the works he or she creates.

Do you offer only group classes?

We offer writing workshops and hence, it is primarily a group activity. Presently, only group
workshops are conducted.

What is your refund policy?

Strict no-refund Policy.

Can my child join multiple programs multiple times?

Yes, there is absolutely no end to learning here at YAP with our courses. Additionally, repeat
students get a discount.

How will my child take lessons?

At the moment, lessons are taken online; however, efforts are being made to host live
workshops where the students will be able to openly interact with their mentor.

Can I reschedule classes in case I can’t join?

Class rescheduling is possible, but it depends on the availability of the mentor. It is not advised
that you reschedule classes.

Do you provide any certificates after completion of any course?

Yes, a certificate of participation is provided to students once the course is completed.
